We have all experienced that wet stuffy day usually during the summer after a rain shower. Describe and compare the differences before the shower and after. Tell how your body reacted to it.
I have asthma so this effects me alot. After alittle rain storm like that the air feels so heavy and it sometimes becomes very hard to breath. When I work in the greenhouse with Mrs. Manzer it is always like that. Where the water has been on and there is no where for the condense air to escape. When you walk outside it always alot cooler.
Usually in the summer before there is a rain shower, I can tell it's coming. The air starts to feel thick when I breathe. After the rain shower is over, I hate it because that's when the mosquitoes and gnats start to come out. Those are in the top three of annoying bugs behing flies. My body really doesn't be knowing how to react to it. If I am outside before the rain, then I already have some sweat on my body. When the rain start I usually gets soaked before I get to shelter. Afterwards, my body is cold and hot because of the rain and the sun starting to come back out.
Before the shower its usually really nice. The air is easy to breathe and its nice weather. After the storm happens it is extremely hard for me to breathe the air. The air feels heavy. I don't like the way the air feels because i feel like im going to pass out. Like you said Kellen, working in the greenhouse is just like after a summer storm because the air is very hard to breathe because of the humidity.
The main reason that I hate the humidity is because it makes my hair really puffy, but I also don't like it because it makes the air hot and sticky feeling. Personally, I can feel the humidity both before and after a storm, but more after the storm. Before a storm, it is usually pretty clear and windy outside. After the storm comes through, water is left on the ground and when that mixes with the hot air it causes humidity.
I absolutely HATE humidity. It will just ruin a day. After the rain storm, things are usually pretty foggy and it feels like to me that everything wants to stick on me and something heavy is in the air. Before the storm I don't feel humidity unless it has rained before.
Before the shower I am normally good to go. However, once the temperatures change on the count of humidity, it irritates my allergies. I even get aggravated at the fact that one minute I’m extremely hot and the next minute my body temperature returns neutral constantly.
Before a storm, humidity in the air can be relatively comfortable, but afterwards the air can be completely saturated. This is because the hot air can hold more liquid than when it was cooler. The air feels heavy, and it can be hard to breath. The air feels hotter, yet after a while it begins to get cooler again.
I know that a storm is approaching because it is hot and dry then it turns cool and breezy. I do not like humidity because it makes me feel dirty and it messes up my hair.
Humidity after a rain shower is really annoying in my opinion. You have to go from a nice refreshing rain that you can walk it to a hot and sticky day, just because the water vapor has to attach itself to everything it touches. Another issue is how hot it feels so you don't know just how much water you're losing or not.
I hate humidity. It makes a 85 degree day feel like it is 97 degree. After be have a heavy day of overcast and rain in thesummer makes the humidity and it sucks. It makes any everyday activity horable.
Humidity is awefull makes a day that would not really feel that hot normally, feel real hot. Its not the heat that is bad from humidity but how it makes you feel all stuffy and sticky
Humidity is quite awful. Before it rains, it's hot and humid, but after it rains, it's actually somewhat cool and windy. Sometimes the air will still be humid, which is worse. I hate humidity because it makes my hair poof up and it looks bad.
I particularly hate Summer for this reason and this reason only! Humidity absolutely SUCKS! Before the shower it can't be any dryer than it is, and then after its stuffy, hot, and wet! Not my favorite way to spend a day outside, and I think I can speak for everyone there!
